Inaugural Advisory Board Meeting of the School of Visual Arts & Creative Industries 2026, bringing together distinguished leaders from the cinematic, media, creative, and academic sectors.

This Advisory Board comprises distinguished leaders, industry pioneers, academic gurus, public figures in film and media, filmmakers, academics, and professionals in Cinematic Studies and New Media & Communication. Its role is strategic, consultative, and visionary rather than operational.

The distinguished Advisory Board includes Dr. Nivien El Kilany, Former Minister of Culture of Egypt; Hussein Fahmy, Actor; Yousra, Actress; Amina Khalil, Actress; Kareem El Shenawy, Director; Dr. Samy Tayie, Professor of Public Relations & Advertising; Mona El Shazly, Television Host; Rami Radwan, Television Host; and Sherif Amer, Television Host.

The Advisory Board serves as a strategic body, providing industry insights, forward-looking guidance, professional networking, funding opportunities, and external validation to ensure that the curricula and faculty remain aligned with local, regional, and international developments and meet the needs of the creative industries market.

Dr. Ali El Meligui, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, introduced ESLSCA University’s vision, followed by Dr. Mervat Abou Oaf, Dean of the School of Visual Arts & Creative Industries, who highlighted the School’s future plans and strategic direction, setting the stage for a meaningful exchange between academia and industry.

Ms. Reem El Miligui, Associate Chair of the Cinematic Studies Department, and Dr. Amira Abdel Hamied, Chair of the New Media & Communication Department, each presented an overview of their respective bachelor’s degrees, highlighting their academic vision.
