The workshop formed part of MedFest Egypt’s 8th edition, as ESLSCA University continues as the festival’s Main Educational Partner for the second consecutive year.

As part of the 8th edition of MedFest Egypt, ESLSCA University sponsored “Exploring How to Read a Scene & Shape Its Visual Language,” a workshop led by filmmaker Alsadeer Masoud. The session explored the different elements that contribute to the visual construction of a scene, examining how filmmakers read, interpret, and translate ideas into a distinct visual language. Through discussions around cinematic storytelling and visual expression, attendees gained insights into the creative decisions that shape how a story is communicated on screen.

The workshop reflects the School of Cinematic Studies at ESLSCA University’s commitment to bridging academic learning with the professional film industry and creating opportunities for meaningful exchange with filmmakers and creative professionals.
