Specialization 1 – Sports Technology:

Osama Abdelkarim, Ph.D.
Acting Academic Director,
School of Sports Management
Dr. Osama Abdelkarim is a Professor of Sport Science with a Ph.D. from the University of Magdeburg, Germany (2013). With over 24 years of academic experience, his expertise spans teaching, research, and academic development. His work focuses on promoting the sports and health ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on R&D&I. Over the past 15 years, he has secured over €2 million in funding across seven international projects, building a global network in academia, research, and industry across 25+ countries. He has published 34 international papers and is the top-cited Egyptian sport scientist with an h-index of 18. Dr. Abdelkarim also has extensive experience in developing innovative curricula and academic programs.

Mohamed Abdelsattar Abdelkader, Ph.D.
Academic Lecturer
Dr. Mohamed Abdelkader is an Associate Professor of Sport Science with 24 years of academic experience in teaching, research, and development. He earned his Ph.D. from Mansoura University in collaboration with Georg August University of Goettingen, Germany. He received two post-doctoral scholarships: one from DAAD in 2012 (Goettingen) and another in 2015 at Karl-Franzens University of Graz, Austria. His research focuses on sports training and kinesiology, particularly in enhancing performance in junior and elite athletes. Dr. Abdelkader has published 21 papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Mohamed Zoromba , Ph.D.
Associate Professor
Dr. Mohamed Zoromba is an Associate Professor of Sports Management and Sports Economics. Holding a Ph.D. from the German Sport University Cologne, Germany (2014), along with multiple postdoctoral research engagements and over 22 years of experience in the sports industry, he has made significant contributions to both academia and professional practice. Dr. Zoromba’s career encompasses academia, government advisory roles, and executive leadership in sports club operations, positioning him as a prominent figure in the field. His commitment to advancing sports management is reflected in his scholarly work, leadership positions, and strategic initiatives that have shaped the development of sports organizations in Egypt and beyond.

Tuition fees may be paid in two installments per semester.

General Information
All refund amounts are calculated after deducting the Non-refundable Application Fee and must comply with the university’s academic withdrawal policies, procedures and code of conduct.
Newcomers’ Tuition Refund Policy
- Full Refund (100%): If the student is not accepted to the university (rejected for any reason)
- Early and Regular Admission (before induction date): EGP 20,000 administration/cancellation fee will be deducted from the first instalment
- Withdrawal on or after induction date: First instalment is non-refundable (100% deduction)
Returning Students’ Tuition Refund Policy
Before the semester starts:
- EGP 20,000 administrative fee will be deducted
After classes begin (starting the first day of classes):
- End of Week 1: 75% of the semester fees will be refunded
- End of Week 2: 50% of the semester fees will be refunded
- End of Week 3: 25% of the semester fees will be refunded
- End of Week 4 and onwards: No refunds will be issued
Payment Schedule & Policies
Tuition Fee Instalment Deadlines:
- 1st instalment: September 21
- 2nd instalment: November 21
- 3rd instalment: February 21
- 4th instalment: April 21
Important Notes:
- A 10% penalty applies to any overdue balance (EGP & EUR) after missing the above deadlines
- If a deadline falls on a weekend or official holiday, the due date will be adjusted to the next working day
- To postpone an instalment payment, send a request to [email protected] before the deadline
- Exceeding a deadline without an approved postponement request will incur the penalty fee, except in cases of force majeure (with supporting documentation)
- Dropping an academic year or semester will incur a readmission fee (contact Student Accounting for details)
- Credit balances will automatically apply to future semester fees
- Refunds are only processed for complete withdrawal from the University or at graduation
- Students who withdraw from a course and retake it later will pay the updated course fees regardless of any balance from the dropped course
